Original web series of 8 chapters, with an approximate duration of 3 minutes each, on the most outstanding aspects of the time of the medieval kingdom of Galicia. The protagonists were Teodoro and Athanasio, disciples of the Apostle Santiago, who narrated these episodes in comic but with historical rigor.
The WebSerie was aimed at the youth public and was published on social networks, with special attention to its dissemination in secondary schools. To facilitate its academic use, each chapter included a teaching -oriented didactic guide, allowing the contents of the classrooms to be worked on.
The project combined documentary and audiovisual theater, addressing topics such as the existence of the medieval kingdom of Galicia, relations with Portugal, the inventory of the tomb of the Apostle Santiago, the importance of Galician in medieval peninsular literature, the political and social tensions of the 14th and 15th centuries, and key figures such as Pardo de Cela, Xelmírez or Don García.
The series recovered the characters of Theodoro and Athanasio, already used in the show DOU NO TRUISH, adapting them to this new audiovisual format to get closer to youth through humor and dissemination. The project also responded to the need to offer cultural content in Galician in a context in which social networks and audiovisuals are fundamental tools for education and leisure.
During the first months a documentation phase based on various historical publications was made. Subsequently, the scripts were drafted, combining historical accuracy and comic.
This project reaffirmed the commitment to historical dissemination in Galician, offering attractive content for the new generations and promoting the knowledge of the medieval past of Galicia in an accessible and dynamic way.
