Through a contemporary scenic proposal, Of the Kingdom (e) of Outlawed Loves brings the history of the Kingdom of Galicia to the public from an unusual perspective, focusing on women, artistic expressions and historically silenced emotional and sexual relationships.

The project uses theatre, live medieval music, narration and audiovisual resources to build a playful and informative journey through the Galician medieval past, combining historical rigor and scenic creation.

The work is articulated through different passages that go through episodes, figures and imaginaries linked to the Kingdom of Galicia, incorporating references to queens, soldiers, troubadours and other people who played a relevant role in the cultural configuration of the country. The show proposes a reflection on historical memory, Galician identity and the mechanisms by which certain experiences and protagonists were left out of the official stories.

The production was developed as a performing arts project with a large informative component, complemented by a digital communication strategy, audiovisual materials and parallel activities aimed at dialogue with the public. The proposal seeks not only to spread knowledge about the Kingdom of Galicia, but also to foster an emotional connection with Galician historical and cultural heritage through a participatory and accessible experience.

The result is an initiative that combines historical research, artistic creation and social commitment to offer a renewed vision of the Galician Middle Ages, claiming the diversity of voices and experiences that were part of its history and contributing to the dissemination of the Kingdom of Galicia among wide and diverse audiences.
