Comedic-participatory theatrical show of historical dissemination in Galician, aimed at all audiences. With an original and rigorously documented script, it recreates the events of the 13th century in which Aldonça and Sancha, legitimate heirs to the Kingdom of Galicia and León after the death of Afonso VIII, were removed from the throne for political and gender interests.

The production mixed acting with puppetry and was designed to be performed outdoors in heritage spaces.

It was represented in eight municipalities of A Coruña (Moeche, Cabana de Bergantiños, Vimianzo, Fisterra, Muros, Rianxo, Brión and Padrón), contributing to the promotion of Galician historical and architectural heritage. After these initial functions, the project continued its dissemination in cultural spaces and educational circuits.

Through a didactic and dynamic staging, LAND OF QUEENS sought to bring the story to the general public, including non-regular theatergoers.

The show addressed the discrimination of women in the succession to the throne and the loss of independence of the Kingdom of Galicia against Castile, integrating elements of music and lyrical troubadour tradition. In addition, he guaranteed parity in the artistic team and committed to inclusive language and linguistic correction in Galician.
